Singapore THE EDGE PARTNERSHIP HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. Full time

Our client is an accomplished and well respected privately owned global real estate investment firm. Due to business expansion here in their Singapore office, there is now a need to hire a highly capable and driven Finance Director (Fund Controller) to manage accounting and controlling aspects of real estate funds.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Review quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and INREV reporting requirements, including quarterly NAV computations
- Supervise and oversee accounting, consolidation and administration services undertaken by local teams and third-party service providers
- Reconcile accounting results to cash basis for portfolio/ liquidity management
- Review all schedules and supplementary information required by investor side letter arrangements and consultant requests
- Liaise with auditors and tax advisors on all transactions and technical reporting matters, including coordination of audits with external auditors
- Oversee and manage the preparation of investors reports and coordinate response to all investor related requests
- Set up and manage new SPVs as part of entity structure review
- General support of senior team members in decision-making and execution
- Assisting with the constant refining of internal investment and asset management processes including ensuring accuracy of fund data and records
- Supervise and oversee the service providers and external accounting team
- Support the coordination and review of the fund’s quarterly independent valuations and reconciliation of inputs

**Knowledge/ Experience Required**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Professional accounting qualification
- Eight or more years’ experience in Fund Management, ideally in Fund Controlling in the real estate industry with focus in Open-ended real estate/ Luxembourg-based funds
- Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred
- Experience with supporting real estate acquisitions and APAC tax structuring from a finance perspective
- Highly numerate with a strong understanding of real estate investment and the investment management environment
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite, in particular Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of other Asian languages would be advantageous

**Salary**: $12,000.00 - $13,400.00 per month
