**About the Position**
**Key **Responsibilities**
- Provide compliance recommendations as outlined in telecommunication and data protection guidelines (and Acts) like CTIA, CWTA, IMDA, TCPA and GDPR for all our global regions.
- Create external and internal documentation related to Telecommunications compliance requirements, with a focus on Sender ID registration processes and the procurement of 2-way SMS numbers globally.
- Reviewing and approving of content templates, use cases and message flows for A2P & P2P messaging.
- Sender ID & Message (SMS) content registration for customer use cases in line with global communications regulations.
- Manage the number sourcing (Long
- & Shortcode), procurement and leases for Whispir's customers across our global regions for voice and messaging services.
- Track and maintain lists of Customer sender IDs brands based on their category classification (domestic/ international/ industry) where applicable - across A2P messaging markets globally.
- Planning and preparing submissions and responses to the relevant Government Authorities or regulators on product specifications, processes and incidents where applicable.
- Monitor and analyse new regulatory and legal compliance requirements, including in potential new business jurisdictions, to determine relevant impact and recommend and assist with implementation of plans to meet applicable requirements.
**Expected Outcomes**
- Manage the compliance of our service offerings within and across different markets and recommend changes to product specifications in line with statutory requirements.
- Providing expert advice while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure Telecommunications and anti-spam regulatory and risk issues are properly identified and managed in new and existing products, features, and services, including participation in the Company's risk management committee (or equivalent).
- Support the Carrier Vendor Manager by acting as Telco liaison between Whispir and their vendors to be on-top of market movements and industry updates, assist with SMS MSA negotiations as well as WMC Global audit reviews.
- Analyse high impact customer traffic to provide guidance and advice to Whispir GTM teams, Delivery teams and customers on best practices for sending A2P Messages to different network operators across various countries, globally.

We would like you to have:
- Experience focusing on compliance in the telecommunications industry and working with Mobile Network Operations and 3rd party regulators (ie. MEF) across multiple communication channels.
- Experience working on approval for campaigns from telecommunication carriers as well as regulation on Sender ID registration and whitelisting of content as dictated in various markets in the A2P messaging space.
- Experience working in B2B SaaS with a deep understanding of A2P Messaging (SMS) markets globally as well as requirements for procuring numbers for voice & messaging services.
- Basic understanding of different filtering (blocking) metrics within the A2P Messaging space.
- Demonstrated organisational, detail orientation, prioritisation skills, and time management skills to ensure that work-related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Highly skilled at interpreting relevant regulation legislation and identifying how it impacts Whispir's current and future service offerings.
