General Manager

**Scope**:
The General Manager will be supporting the Asia Technology Community Senior Leadership to manage a broad range of horizontal technology services and administration functions.

The primary function of this role is to oversee areas such as financials, management reporting, metrics, data, internal communications, governance, and transformation program support across a broad range of areas, as described below.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing horizontal technology services and administrative responsibilities in the Asia Technology Community.
- Manage IT, Tech Finance, InfoSecurity, Tech General Affairs, and other auxiliary functions to be aligned with strategic objectives of Asia Technology Community.
- Harmonize plans and efforts with Japan's HQ's Technology Divisions.
- An in-depth understanding of Tech Finance, including costing, accounting, tax benefits, and cost efficiency improvement programs is required.
- Provide high-quality reporting to senior management and governance committees in support of decision making, including resourcing, delivery prioritization, trend analysis, employee communications, and town hall meetings.
- Assist in building and distributing technology communications, and represent the technology leadership in formal business updates.
- Working across different technology teams to ensure key business updates and risks are captured and discussed with the appropriate stakeholders.
- Interact with key partners in the Technology Division, Ad & Marketing Business, Finance & Accounting, Tax, Governance, Human Resources, vendor management, and IT departments.
- Assist in identifying and implementing cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the regional technology team, leaders, as well as stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and operational processes for the business.

Skills & Experiences:

- Strong analytical skills with experience assembling, analyzing, and synthesizing data from multiple sources.
- Ability to cultivate positive relationships with global stakeholders and team members.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in the Japanese language (written/ spoken) is highly favourable.
- Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization.
- Strong financial acumen, numerate and able to understand financial operational impacts, notably with experience working towards qualifying tax benefits schemes.
- Previous team management experience would be an advantage. Experience of working in a highly matrixed managed and cross-regional environment would also be beneficial.
- Proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues, and having tenacity to drive solutions through to a conclusion with good judgement.
- Quick learner with strong attention to detail.
- Highly motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong ability to work in a cross-region matrix environment, collaborative with culturally diverse teams.
- Strong level of proficiency in MS-Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

**Salary**: $15,000.00 - $20,000.00 per month
