Today, student success requires skills for collaboration, creativity, compassion, and problem-solving. There is an urgent need to prepare our young people to both navigate an unknown and complex future and believe they have the skills to **shape** a more just, fair, and compassionate future.

**Design thinking** is one of the ways we can address this need. It asserts that new and better things are possible and that each of us can make change happen if we cultivate a human-centered, collaborative, and optimistic mindset. We believe Design Thinking and design concepts need to be taught to children from a very young age to build a growth mindset and building empathy.

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced facilitators in Design Thinking and Innovation who are passionate about empowering students, and share interests in educating the young using innovative pedagogies.

Facilitators will work on a freelance basis. Training, materials, and lesson plans will be provided.
- Deliver classroom training in Design Thinking and programs designed based on the methodology
- Facilitate the students in the classroom to deliver effective and engaging programmes
- Follow the workshop activities according to the program design and adapt the delivery if needed to suit the learning style of the students
- Take ownership of delivering an effective programme to meet the objectives and outcomes of the programmes

**Job Requirements**
- Qualified and experienced facilitators in Design Thinking and / or Design
- Effective communication and classroom management skills are essential
- Enthusiastic and passionate about empowering children and youth

The ability to train in other Lifeskills Programmes will be advantageous.

**Additional Information**
- MOE registration as a trainer is a must (it takes 8 weeks to be registered so contact us after your get it)
- Hourly rate applies and will be starting with a range between $40 - $50 and based on qualifications, experience and skills
