VFlowTech (VFT) is reinventing energy storage with Vanadium redox flow technology, with a vision to develop the cheapest and most scalable Vanadium redox flow batteries in the world. VFT founders have deep experience in the renewable space, and Vanadium redox flow technology. VFT is a spin-off of the CleanTech lab of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and benefits from unique IP arising from many years of intensive research at NTU.

As VFT is growing and offering solutions to more clients and geographies, we are looking for an experienced marketing and communication personal who will oversee leading our company's marketing efforts. In this role, you will be developing a detailed marketing strategy, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company's brands. You will also oversee organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events.

**Job Description**:

- Work with team of experienced VFT executives focused on core operations, product development, procurement, sales, finance and partnership aspects of the business.
- You will be part of the accounting function within the company. This role will require you to support GL, AP and AR activities, and to be part of the monthly closing process and other recurring accounting activities for the entity.
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
- Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities.
- Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required.
- Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/WHT/CIT/ ), audits, procedures, and forms both statutory and internal.
- Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in one of: business, finance, accountancy or similar field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience working in accounting/finance-related or similar field.
- Advance understanding and knowledge of accountancy and its software.
- In depth understanding of supply chain, value chain, and project management.
- Effective communication skills as related to board, partners and investors including presentation skills at meetings and conferences. Experience working in groups and teams.
- Highly flexible, creative problem solver, with a strong ability to multi-task.
- High tolerance for ambiguity, changing work priorities and deadlines, and a willingness to take on responsibilities and to prioritize own work on multiple projects.
