VFlowTech (VFT) is reinventing energy storage with Vanadium redox flow technology, with a vision to develop the cheapest and most scalable Vanadium redox flow batteries in the world. VFT storage solution has an expected life span of 25 years and is proven to be one of the safest and most environmentally friendly battery technologies. VFT founders have deep experience in the renewable space, and Vanadium redox flow technology. VFT is a spin-off of the CleanTech lab of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and benefits from unique IP arising from many years of intensive research at NTU.

As VFT is growing and offering solutions to more clients and geographies, we are looking for an experienced marketing and communication personal who will oversee leading our company's marketing efforts. In this role, you will be developing a detailed marketing strategy, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company's brands. You will also oversee organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events.

**Job Description**:
Work with team of experienced VFT executives focused on core operations, product development, procurement, sales, and partnership aspects of the business including:

- Oversee and plan the manufacturing of batteries including managing the sourcing and logistics to produce new batteries, inventory, shipments and system testing
- Oversee the implementation of energy storage solutions within sites or microgrids operated by the customers
- Overseeing teams of business development, project managers, market analysis, and sales.
- Partnerships and customer relations regarding sourcing goods, manufacturing, and maintaining sales channels.
- Ability to interface between VFT investors, customers, university partners, technology R&D partners, and commercial (EPC) partners on business development as well as technical side.
- Advising the Company regarding capital, equity, and debt raises.
- Maintain safe and healthy working environment.
- Evaluate performance of teams and work with HR to training and development initiatives.
- Work with HR to improve people & culture processes and resolve/bridge any interdepartmental gaps/grievances/disputes.

**Manufacturing**
- Support Supply Chain Team in running smooth supply chain operations and ensure cost saving is achieved while sourcing for suitable suppliers/vendors.
- Support in procuring supplemental raw materials for product production.
- Support lean manufacturing and total quality management.
- Tracking cash flows and managing cash disbursements.
- Monthly management reporting.
- Budgeting and accounting past, present, and future financials.

**Sales and Customer Relations**
- Able to access, understand, and communicate status of competitive technologies.
- Understand engineering needs across all products and technologies.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in one of: business, finance, engineering, material science or similar field.
- 12+ years of experience working in operations in energy industry or similar field
- Basic understanding and knowledge of engineering or material science, and battery and energy storage.
- In depth understanding of supply chain, value chain, and project management.
- Strong and effective communication skills as related to board, partners and investors including strong presentation skills at meetings and conferences. Experience working in groups and teams. Strong decision-maker.
- Highly flexible, creative problem solver, with a strong ability to multi-task.
- High tolerance for ambiguity, changing work priorities and deadlines, and a willingness to take on responsibilities and to prioritize own work on multiple projects.
