**Job Description**:
We are looking for enthusiastic, talented and ambitious New Client Development professionals to help lead the prospecting, identifying and closing of new business for Metals and Mining products and services across South East Asia and Australasia
The New Client Development team is a key driver for sales execution and performance across new accounts. You will be instrumental for the achievement of sales targets as well as the effective use of resources to achieve targets.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Develop a deep understanding of the value of our Metals & Mining solutions to our customers and to support new business identification and business winning, including uncovering new audiences and growth sectors.
- Target, prospect, identify, evaluate, and prioritize new business opportunities and execute the practices necessary to successfully open doors and close opportunities in South East Asia and Australasia.
- Conceive and execute effective promotional and prospecting programmes to increase awareness of Wood Mackenzie among qualified prospects.
- Travel to key industry meetings & events to support the growth of your pipeline and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with the wider team.
- Work closely with the Lead Management team to respond quickly and efficiently to all outbound leads to maximise win rates and meet Wood Mackenzie’s response time SLAs.
- Collaborate with Research, Consulting, Marketing and Account teams to ensure professional standards are always met.
- Ensure Research sales targets are achieved.
- Effectively negotiate contractual terms for new business.
- Promote the organisation in line with the company strategy, business plans and values.
- Work with the Account Management team to ensure a successful handover process.

**Qualifications**:
- Have experience of new business development, sales, and industry, ideally within an M&M sector environment.
- Have superior written and verbal communication skills and outstanding presentation abilities.
- Have natural influencing and organisational skills.
- Have sound judgement and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrate understanding of strategic marketing, business and financial principles.
