We pride ourselves on our commitment to showcasing achievements and driving positive change within the banking industry. As part of our expansion efforts, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Awards Sales Executive to join our growing team.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets for our well established and coveted banking awards programs.
- Identify and target potential clients / nominees within the banking ecosystem
- including banks, financial institutions, technology vendors, and fintech companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Proactively prospect for new business opportunities and lead generation activities through cold calling, networking, and competitor awards.
- Educate prospective clients on the benefits of participating in our awards programs and the value of industry recognition.
- Strong working knowledge of LinkedIn as a prospecting tool.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is a bonus.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and events, to ensure seamless execution of awards programs and deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, customized solutions, and sponsorship packages tailored to the specific needs of clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements to close deals and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reporting and forecasts to management, tracking progress against targets and KPIs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the events, banking or financial services industry.
- Modearte understanding of the banking sector, including key players, trends, and challenges.
- Ability to hanlde ojections and negotiations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
- Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools is a plus.
