We are looking for a **Compliance Counsel in Singapore **to join our Compliance function in Neste’s Legal team. You will be the first Compliance function team member based in Singapore.

Neste’s Compliance function manages and further develops Neste’s compliance program and supports the establishment and development of group wide compliance processes and awareness efforts.

**Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are**

You will play a key role in driving and developing our compliance program and embedding it in our business. Your main responsibilities include
- Having the role of the Regional Compliance Officer for the APAC area, and the first point of contact for compliance topics in the area.
- Driving compliance topics in the APAC area and providing advice and support to Neste’s business organisations and functions concerning compliance risks and topics.
- Supporting the development of Neste’s group wide compliance processes and together with the Compliance function Neste’s compliance program.
- Compliance awareness and training efforts, including management reporting in APAC and information sharing via Neste’s compliance reporting structure.

You will work closely with other Neste functions and business stakeholders to support the establishment and development of compliance processes and information sharing procedures to enable proper compliance risk management._ _You will report to Neste’s Chief Compliance Officer based in Espoo, Finland and you will be based in Singapore.

**The best combination to success in this role**
- Master's degree in law
- Preferably at least 4 years of work experience from a law firm or relevant industrial companies
- Passion for compliance topics in general and experience in developing compliance processes and programs.
- Prior experience in anti-corruption topics and risk management is considered an advantage
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperating within a global organisation
- Proven written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and excellent command of English
- High integrity combined with a solution-minded approach to compliance matters and a genuine desire to proactively collaborate with key stakeholders. Ability to strive in high-intensity project work.

We also value
- Experience in competition law and privacy topics.

The recruitment process will include interviews and possible aptitude assessment.

The person selected for the position must pass a health examination. A security clearance is obtained with their consent.
