We are seeking an experienced and dedicated **Scrub Nurse/AU Nurse to join our Day Surgery Centre. **You will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and excellence of surgical procedures in our dynamic healthcare environment. Your expertise in sterile techniques, instrument handling, and patient care will contribute to optimal surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Collaborating closely with the surgical team, you will be an integral part of our commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Office hours (Monday to Friday, half Saturdays)**:

- Prepare and set up the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
- Assist the surgical team in creating and maintaining a sterile field during procedures.
- Hand instruments and supplies to the surgeon and other team members as needed, following established protocols.
- Collaborate with the circulating nurse to ensure the accurate counting of surgical instruments, sponges, and needles before and after the procedure.
- Monitor the patient's condition during the surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort, and promptly addressing any concerns or changes in vital signs.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation related to the surgical procedure, including instrument counts and patient records.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and best practices to minimize the risk of surgical site infections.
- Assist in the proper disposal of used materials and instruments, ensuring compliance with waste disposal guidelines.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized operating room environment, promoting safety and efficiency.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and technologies.

**Requirements**:

- SNB Registered At least 2-3 years of OT / AU / Circulate Nursing experience
