**The Quinntessential Questions Podcast**, hosted by Paul Quinn, is a fast-growing show powered by Westport Partners' Career Coaching. We dive deep into bold career journeys, leadership insights, and human stories that inspire. Our mission? To create a global community of listeners and changemakers.
We’re now looking for a **Social Media Content Editor** who’s ready to take their creativity to the next level. You’ll be our go-to visual storyteller — and if you’re curious about social media marketing, we’ll help you grow into that too.
**The Opportunity**
This is a hands-on creative role focused on producing visually engaging video and graphic content for our podcast and digital channels. If you’re excited by the idea of shaping a brand’s look, feel, and online impact — this is your moment.
You’ll work directly with the host to edit reels, design thumbnails, and help amplify our content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Spotify/Apple Podcasts.
**Bonus**: As we scale, you may also travel with us to international locations (e.g., Hong Kong, Dubai, Dublin, London, New York, Switzerland) to help produce on-site content and live interviews.
**Key Responsibilities**
Video Editing
- Edit short-form content: YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikToks
- Edit long-form podcast episodes for YouTube and Spotify
- Add captions, transitions, intros/outros, and highlight clips
- Repurpose content into teaser trailers, audiograms, and quote video
Graphic Design
- Design YouTube thumbnails, Instagram carousels, cover images, and podcast banners
- Use Canva or other software for fast-turnaround design aligned with brand look & feel
Filming & On-Location Content
- Assist in remote or in-studio podcast recordings.
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage and special content.
- (Optional/future) Travel with the host for key interviews and global shoots.
Bonus: Social Media Marketing (Growth Path)
- Learn how to plan and post content across channels
- Discover how to use hooks, hashtags, and storytelling for engagement
- Eventually help track basic metrics and performance
**What We’re Looking For**
- **Creative & Fast**: You can turn around high-quality content quickly without sacrificing polish
- **Video Editing Proficiency**: You’re confident with cuts, edits, effects, and storytelling flow
- **Graphic Design Expertise**: You know how to make designs pop and support brand consistency
- **Curious About Social Media**: You want to learn how content becomes part of a brand’s growth engine
- **Self-Motivated & Organised**: You manage your time well and take ownership of deliverables
**Experience & Tools**
- **1-3 years of experience** in video editing, graphic design, or content creation
- A **portfolio** showcasing your work — including short-form video edits, thumbnails, carousels, and social visuals
- A strong **visual eye** and comfort working with audio-visual content
- Solid **English skills** — especially for creating captions, titles, and short descriptions
- Interest or basic knowledge of how social media content performs and engages
- Tools: Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, Semrush, YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite.
- Platforms: YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Spotify, Apple Podcasts.
**Work Structure & Compensation**
- **Part-Time**: 20-30 hrs/week to start
- **Full-Time**: Open to scaling up based on fit and performance
- **Location**: Remote with occasional in-person filming (if local)
- **Compensation**: Competitive monthly pay + performance-based bonuses
