**How you’ll make an impact**

The Regional Director will be accountable for the delivery of the sales and marketing execution across the Asia business. The role’s objective is to grow the business in the Asia market to become the market leader in small business software and use. It requires a dynamic and experienced sales manager who is adept at growing and leading a diverse team in a competitive market.
**What you’ll do**
- Contribute to and collaborate with the broader Customer team on the overall GTM/Customer strategy (e.g. customer needs, segmentation, targeting, positioning)
- Develop operating plans and budgets in line with the high-level guidance provided by Customer and Finance
- Be Xero’s ambassador in the external market, moving the market to the cloud and building Xero’s brand to attract customers and new hires
- Drive the marketing and sales of Xero products which delight customers, their advisors and communities
- Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders in market, e.g. government, banks, ecosystem partners
- Lead execution of the GTM/Customer operation plans and budget, delivering in-year performance targets and strategic initiatives
- Communicate to the Customer LT commercial and operational changes, opportunities, and areas of risk
- Foster strong and collaborative connections between the regional GTM team and global functions, supporting the consistent execution of the Customer playbook and flagging changes in the regional market
- Support M&A and partnerships work
- Act as the custodian of all Xero employees within the region - GTM and other disciplines
**Success looks like**
- 3 to 5-year revenue, market share, and subscriber growth
- New revenue stream growth
- In-year GTM budget
- Target LTV to CAC ratios
- Strong customer & channel NPS
- Strong eNPS scores across regional GTM team

- Significant experience in a relevant sales and marketing leadership role, ideally in a SaaS environment
- Proven track record managing and growing a scaled business
- Experience working in large corporate global environments
- Demonstrated direct team leadership experience and indirect team leadership of cross-functional resources
- Demonstrated capability to manage complex, multidimensional relationships at the executive and working levels - including the ability to establish collaboration, credibility and confidence
