**The role**
We are looking for a Regional Manager-Operations Excellence & Continuous Improvement to join our Continuous Improvement (CI) team in the Global Logistics Division based in Singapore. You will be responsible for driving Divisional Continuous Improvement programs across sites to uplift operational performance, improving customer services leading to sustainable profitability and growth.
As a Regional Manager-Operations Excellence & Continuous Improvement, you will:
- Lead CI for the business regionally - as Lead Change Agent for the implementation of CI across business operations sites
- Promote CI as a culture in Company (sharing of initiatives across BU) - Roll out on CI programs methodology, lead the cultural change to a performance culture driving business results where all employees are engaged, trained and empowered to make individual contributions to improving business and customer results
- Establish CI competencies in the business - Coach business leaders in Continuous Improvement, building their understanding, sponsorship and leverage of CI - as a leader led program
- Be the operational Excellence (OE) liaison for Key Performance Indicators for the division
- Deploy Toll Operating Platform (TOP) across business sites, publish results and continuous follow up with in-country OE/CI leads on action plans
- Collaborate with respective in-country OE/CI leads to publish performance measurements, track CI project progress and savings across all business units
**Qualifications**:
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management
- 8 to 10 years’ experience in operational and leadership role within the logistics industry
- Good understanding of key logistics business drivers and operational processes and deep understanding of operational and financial performance measurements, reporting, tools and processes
- Experience with lean tools and principles; Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing/ Logistics, Change Leadership experience (certification will be a plus)
- Customer centric view of CI value add to support our customer needs.
- Ability to work across and value stream map logistics business operations end to end
