**What We Do**:
Project Manager will join the Global Professional Services (GPS) practice within BNY Mellon. By guiding clients through the software implementation cycle, GPS acts as a trusted advisor that ensures BNY Mellon clients benefit from investments in our technology and can leverage industry best practice in their daily operations.

**What You Will Do**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee the end-to-end project implementation; project planning, scope management, client management, resource management, issue/risk tracking, status reporting and other project documentation.
- Ensure timely delivery of the project within specified budget and scope.
- Develop governance structure to ensure project status is thoroughly communicated and any deviations from the plan are understood and properly escalated.
- Drive decision making across the project team to resolve issues, manage changes, and to re-prioritize/re-plan.
- Maintain regular communication with the client to provide/discuss project accomplishments and risks.
- Serve as a point of contact between the client and internal teams.
- Acquire and demonstrate working knowledge of the relevant product components as well as the client’s business and data requirements.
- Manage/coordinate with resources across various global teams.
- Guide project team members to adhere to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
- If requested, provide performance reviews for project team members.

**Qualifications**
- 8-10 years of experience in client facing roles.
- 5+ years of experience in project management.
- Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of education plus financial industry experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Preferred**
- Project Management related certifications (PMP or similar), and/or experience in Waterfall/Agile delivery techniques.
- Knowledge in the areas of Data, Technology and/or Operations in the Financial Services industry.
- Experience with Project Management software (MS Projects, Confluence / JIRA, etc.).
- Experience working with cross functional global teams spread across time zones.
- Experience working in a fast paced, rapidly growing business.
