**The **Role**:Principal Research Analyst on Southeast Asia power and renewables

**The Team**:The power and renewable research team is a part of the Gas, Power and Climate Solutions (GPCS) department within S&P Global Commodity Insights. The team is responsible to generate the research insights on power and renewable markets to serve the clients. The Southeast Asia team focus on the markets in ASEAN countries.

**The Impact**:The principal research analyst will join the Singapore power and renewables team to work on renewable market trends, key policy impacts, competitive landscaping, key players analysis, as well as the installed capacity long term outlook. The research outcome will be a part of the APAC regional integrated service and delivered to global clients to assist their decisions and activities in the regions.

You will play an important role as a thought leader on the renewable markets. You will be exposed to major players in the region as well as the government sectors. The teams in GPCS will provide you all the support and assist you to deliver the research.

**Responsibilities**:
Key responsibilities include:

- Conduct the regular research on ASEAN renewable market developments and maintain all existing deliverables
- Contribute to the long-term power market outlook of the key ASEAN countries
- Develop and own the renewable long-term outlooks for key ASEAN countries
- Develop and own the LCOE and cost analysis of all renewable technologies for key ASEAN countries
- Serve the existing clients to address their questions/inquiries on ASEAN renewable markets
- Assist commercial activities to expand our client coverage.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Good understanding of ASEAN energy markets and renewable developments
- Experience on power market regulation, power modelling, policy analysis, renewable project development, or PPA contracting.
- Good technical writing and business presentation skills.
- Good communication skills
