**Manager, Group Reporting, Accounting & Regulatory Policy**

**Your Role**

As part of the Group Reporting team, you will perform routine month-end closing and quarterly reporting and provide technical accounting (IFRS) and regulatory support to various stakeholders across the regions, including Lending and Sectors (Energy, Commodities Food & Agri, Financial Institutions, Real Estate & Infrastructure, Telecom Media Tech & Healthcare, Diversified Corporates and Transportation Logistics & Automotive), Financial Markets, Finance, Tax and others.

You are strongly result-oriented and have a sound knowledge of IFRS and prior work experience in the financial sector. You are detail orientated and yet capable of approaching issues from both analytical and strategic perspective and then come up with concrete solutions that are practical to implement. You are independent, like to work on a diverse set of tasks and can pro-actively manage multiple stakeholders.

**Your most important tasks will include**:

- Participate in month-end closing process and quarterly reporting.
- Provide support and advice to other departments, including business stakeholders, with regards to accounting/reporting policies.
- Identify accounting policy changes and analyse the impact on ING.
- Act as a linking pin to communicate IFRS / accounting requirements to various stakeholders to ensure that accounting policies are consistently applied across the region and the bank.
- Highlight and support in any accounting reviews to improve quality of financial reporting.
- Participate on Finance innovation projects with the goal to standardise and automate processes to increase efficiency and improve data quality.
- Provide education/training to various stakeholders on accounting topics.
- Identifying, monitoring and participating - at both a national and international level - in new developments regarding financial reporting by financial institutions, particularly with respect to IFRS.

**Who are we looking for, your profile & competencies**:
You possess sound technical IFRS knowledge, with strong business acumen and communication skills to help the business and its stakeholders understand the financial impact and reporting requirement that are applicable to their products. You have a healthy dose of organisational sensitivity and can combine different perspectives and areas of expertise to propose the optimal solution. You are a team player with excellent collaboration skills who is critical (in a positive sense) of her / his own performance and that of others.

**In addition, you have**:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably also with audit background or professional (CPA/ACCA) qualification.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS. Knowledge of local regulatory reporting requirements (MAS) would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills with demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong team player, self-starter and motivator, capable of working independently with mínimal supervision.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across all functions/departments in the bank and influence senior leaders.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills with proven success in influencing business decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel. Excel Macro. PowerBI working knowledge would be advantageous.
