Chemical Technician- 12 Hours Shift

Singapore COIM ASIA PACIFIC PTE LTD Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily batch processes in accordance to SOP and comply strictly to safety, quality and environmental guidelines.
- Perform equipment line-ups and operate reactors in accordance to established practices and procedures.
- Charge chemicals into reactor manually.
- Carry out drumming operations as and when required.
- Report all process/equipment/environmental abnormalities, incidents and/or near misses to Shift Superintendent/Engineer/Production Manager. Take part in further investigation when required.
- Adhere to Company and departmental procedures, SHEQ rules and regulations, and GMP at all times.
- Carry out scheduled housekeeping activities.
- Ensure proper handover and takeover during shift changes.
- Participate as CERT member.

**Requirements**:

- ITE Certificate/ Diploma in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
- Relevant working experience in chemical industries.
- On-the-job raining will be provided for entry level.
- An effective team player with good communication skills.
- Must be able to work on 12-hours rotating shift in Jurong Island.
- Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
