Overview
Process Technician – Chemical / GMP Manufacturing
We are seeking a motivated
Process Technician
to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in
Chemical Engineering or related technical disciplines
who thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment and are comfortable working on a
12-hour rotating shift .
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production processes in compliance with approved SOPs.
Maintain plant facilities and ensure housekeeping standards are met.
Communicate process status updates clearly during shifts and handovers.
Monitor trends and respond to alarms using DCS DeltaV and PLC HMI systems.
Conduct product sampling and perform routine equipment cleaning (manual, CIP, COP).
Support commissioning and validation activities as required.
Complete all mandatory training and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
Safety
Ensure a safe working environment in line with EHS policies and regulatory requirements.
Manage proper segregation and disposal of chemical waste per SOP.
Quality
Maintain accurate and complete records in compliance with GMP standards.
Uphold data integrity and ensure the facility remains audit-ready.
Support investigations by providing inputs on impact assessments and CAPAs.
Schedule
Ensure processes run on schedule with minimal delays and proactively report issues.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline required.
At least 1 year of experience in a chemical or GMP manufacturing environment required.
Ability to work on 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night) required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
