**About This Role:

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Services, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing the high-performance trading networks and ultra-low latency datacentre infrastructure of the digital exchange to ensure maximum uptime and high bandwidth for members. The role includes designing network system configurations, managing and documenting the installation of the network infrastructure, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary.

You shall provide innovative network solutions to meet business challenges and stringent technical requirements including compliance with MAS TRM guidelines. You shall also take charge of the office networks including WAN/LAN technologies to enterprise security and wireless connectivity.

**Responsibilities**
- Architect, administer, optimize, and monitor ultra-low latency network infrastructure for Exchange Matching Engine at Colocation Data Centre
- Work with Extranet service providers to support market data delivery and order execution for a fair, orderly and transparent market
- Establish Direct Connect between Colocation Data Centre to AWS
- Architect, administer, optimize, and monitor the network in AWS and within Kubernetes (EKS)
- Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Deploying, monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting the network Infrastructure
- Documenting the IT Infrastructure, policies, and procedures
- Participating in disaster recovery and contingency plans
- Identifying risks
- Securing the network
- Adopting automation and innovative solutions
- Work closely with Infrastructure, IT Security and Application teams to deliver secure, resilient, and highly available infrastructure to support a 24 x 7 trading system.

**Qualifications And Experience**

Education
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline

Experience and Skill
- Degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of network engineering and project delivery experience
- Network certification
- Good understanding of market venue, exchange protocols (FIX, Binary protocols) is preferred
- Expert in low latency network technologies - Including Multicast (IGMP, PIM), L2/L3, WAN Design, BGP, NAT, IPSEC, GRE
