Singapore OSI ASIA Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create / review 3D Inventor models, 2D Auto Cad drawings and Bills of Material for new built components / equipment
- Create / review 2D or 3D drawings out of re-engineering process for the remanufacturing of items, manufacture of Test fixtures
- Create and control OSI Part numbers/Drawings in Master Control and Control Vendor’s drawings
- Generate, review and maintain design calculations/packages
- Carry out design planning for Subsea and CPD Projects; prepare and maintain all associated documents
- Accept Engineering requests / assignments from Project Engineers, attend project briefing / kick-off meeting related to the assignments, collect information.
- Collect information required for each drawing from reference materials and specifications/codes.
- Liaise with customer / sales for additional information related to Engineering.
- Prepare draft copy of model or drawing for initial review.
- Prepare proposal drawing for submission to customer by sales team.
- Verify/finalize drawings, Engineering documents and upload into MasterControl.
- Amend drawings in response to feedback on equipment design or changes to work scope. Will review impact of changes and process revisions through MasterControl Advanced Packet.
- Submit LER / UK Engineering request and liaise with OSI, UK on Engineering activities assigned to them.
- Liaise with Customer / 3rd Party / design house, where required, regards approval of drawings, design documents / packages.
- Lead the interaction with customers, Project Engineers and other departments in resolving Engineering related issues.
- Prepare work instructions, procedures and manual for subsea equipment and CPD products
- Maintain Technical information / Library. Track Quality objectives for Engineering.
- Participate, as required, in Quality and EHS audits from API and other external organizations.
- Contribute continual improvement initiatives.
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by QHSE & Engineering Manager.
- Ensure compliance with OSI Quality management system, OSI HS&E requirements and OSI EHS policy.

**The Person**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Auto CAD is required. Experience in Solid works / Autodesk Inventor 3D software is mandatory.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in engineering design environment and with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, assembly & testing.
- Familiar with API 6A / API 16A / API 16C / API 16F / API 16AR / API 6AR / API S64 and Oil & Gas equipment.
- Must demonstrate the highest standards of personal and professional integrity.
- Excellent organizational skills, and be prepared to work as part of a team.
- Pro-active & self-driven who is also able to engage positively in team’s work & development.
- High ability to adapt to changes & work under pressure as well as tight timelines.
- High level of commitment to achieve results, collaborates effectively towards achieving the agreed targets.
- Communicates effectively in spoken and written English.
