We are partnering with a Energy and Commodities Group in search for a trade Finance /Treasury Officer.

Trade Finance Responsibilities:

- Monitoring and managing bank relationships and liquidity management, Co-ordinate and liaising with bank on the company’s trade facilities.
- Supervise and ensure smooth running for trade finance related activities such as letters of credit issuing and TR drawdown.
- Liaise closely with Trading and Operations Departments on the transactions and update financing bank on the cargo details when requested.
- Liaise closely with colleagues on the LC issuance and financing (i.e. preparing Letter of Credit format for their issuance).
- Processing of basic import/export documentary trade transactions.
- Ensure all work, transaction and process procedures, practices and service delivery standards are in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Manage L/C transactions, including the issuance, amendment, and acceptance of L/C.
- Review L/C and documents to ensure accuracy and conformance to UCP600 & ISBP regulation.
- Preparing management reports and any other reports required.

Treasury Responsibilities:

- Daily cash management, manage and monitor cash flow and maintain cash liquidity for the company.
- Managing the treasury operations for multiple entities and countries.
- Monitor and manage loan drawdowns and repayments.
- Handle payment related (i.e. remittance preparation) and liaise with bank.
- Cashflow forecast reporting (entity level information only) and review local entities/business units’ submission.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field of study with 4-5 years of experience working in an oil trading house.
- Good knowledge of UCP 600 regulations, banking and trade finance background preferred.
- Understanding of trade finance instruments (SBLC, Documentary LC, Performance bond).
