**ABOUT THIS ROLE**

We’re looking for self-motivated individuals with the compassion and dedication to join our special team to personally provide the best quality in home care and support for our clients and their families. Caring for seniors is a labour of love that requires a special person and just the right touch. This can be a regular full-time or part-time role or an independent freelance contractor.

**Your Responsibilities Would Include**:

- Providing professional and culturally appropriate care and taking the lead to support seniors to live as independently as possible at home
- Tailoring individualised care to suit the personal needs of our individual clients
- Performing simple routine nursing procedures (for those with rlevant experience)
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of seniors
- Providing personal care to seniors, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
- Checking on vital signs and administering oral medication
- Maintaining clear and legible documentation and records
- Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Reminding and escorting to medical appointments and other social activities
- Non-specialist care activities when necessary

**We Would Ideally Want You To**:

- Have a certification in professional caregiving
- Have a minimum 1 year of hands-on care experience
- Experience caring for seniors a plus
- Have good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Be physically capable of transferring or assisting the senior’s mobility (ability to lift, pull or push)
- Read, write, and speak English, Mandarin or a native dialect/language.
