**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitors tidal and provides assistance to vessels calling to GAP Terminal
- Oversees the berthing / unberthing of vessels to ensure safety
- Ensures vessel is moored accordingly in position as planned
- Directs chartered tug to assist vessel during berthing / unberthing operations
- Communicates with all parties coordinating the berthing / unberthing operations
- Assists in supervising hoses connection / disconnection as well as rigging of gangway
- Assists in ensuring all ship/shore documents are duly signed for clearance
- Assists in ensuring no shore personnel left onboard the vessel prior departure
- Housekeeping of wharf

**Skills**:

- Read, write and speaking ability of English
- Action-oriented, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management
- Strong organization skills as well as eye for details
- Ability to multitask and manages mooring team
- Highly motivated team player who is able to work effectively on own and as part of a wider cross functional team
- A self-motivated, enthusiastic, high-energy individual with good interpersonal skills at all levels
- Strong sense of safety awareness
