Sustainability Engineer/senior

Singapore SOITEC MICROELECTRONICS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. Full time

**Responsibilities**:
**Operations and Management**:

- Responsible for driving sustainability goals and key strategies.
- Regular monitor and review energy & water efficiency performance.
- Manage mitigation and improvement actions to achieve energy & water efficiency key performance index.
- Lead ISO50001 Energy Management System implementation and certification. This includes training, follow ups and reporting to different stakeholders.
- Alignment and coordination with HQ Sustainability directions. This includes periodical meetings and reporting.
- Support Energy Conservation Act (ECA) and Water Efficiency Management Practices (WEMP) submission and improvement actions.
- Coordination with the climate change and sustainability committee on periodical updates, accounting, and review of overall performance.
- Coordination with respective system owners for the optimization of facilities equipment and production tools in terms of energy and water usage.
- Conducting sampling energy measurement for facilities equipment and production tools.
- Support sustainability reporting and carbon accounting to customers, headquarters, external consultants, and authorities.
- In-charge of any renewable energy projects and operations.
- Support reuse, reduce, and recycle activities.
- Supports facilities compliance to ISO14001.
- Reporting to Carbon pricing act if requires to.

**Projects**:

- Drive and support system owners on project related to sustainability.
- In-charge of any renewable energy projects and operations.

**Ad-hoc task**:

- Support shutdown / major breakdown related activities.
- Lead /coordinate internal and external sustainability related events.

**Requirements**:
**Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor or Degree holder in Engineering.
- Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) & Water Efficiency Manager (WEM) is an advantage.

**Experience**:

- At least 2 years’ relevant experience related in leading sustainability activities & reporting.
- Experience in Semiconductor manufacturing environment is an advantage.

**Technical / Job Knowledge**:

- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Resourceful on getting ideas, innovation, or technology related to sustainability.
- Good analysis of datas, trend, and chart.

**Personal Capabilities**:

- Able to communicate fluently in English.
- Understands the importance of data accuracy
- Able to work Overtime where required.
- Be able to work under pressure and multi-tasks
- Strong advocator in climate change and sustainability actions.
