Partner - Football Development

**Role**

As Sports Dev continues on its journey to becoming a regional powerhouse, we are looking for a **Partner - Football Development **to spearhead our football development program in Singapore and the region. The role will be based out of Singapore and will primarily focus on identifying opportunities and avenues to develop football both locally and regionally, using best practices from Europe as a benchmark of excellence.

**Responsibilities**

As Partner - Football Development you will be responsible for the overall development of the football program at Sports Dev in South East Asia.

You will be responsible for developing new revenue channels in football through new program formats. Developing and executing a go-to-market strategy to drive commercial revenue and build the affiliated brands across the region.

You will identify and commercialize brand activation opportunities with different European football brands, in Singapore and the region.

You will improve and accelerate the current programs run in the region with the objective of building the best football development program in Asia.

**Main duties**
- Design and direct the expansion strategy within the territory, ensuring growth in revenue and geographical presence and through solid, viable and high quality projects that maintain the essence and values of FC Barcelona, and to present them to the FC Barcelona Management in Spain for approval.
- Search for new business opportunities in the Southeast Asia region and analyze their feasibility, to present them to FC Barcelona Management for approval and thus contribute to the expansion of the business.
- Establish and maintain the relationship with the different agents involved in the projects (federation, government, city council, etc.) to ensure their support in the management of FC Barcelona Schools and that it runs smoothly and without incidents and obstacles.
- Supervise the existing activities (Schools, Campuses and other Barça services), as well as the people in charge sent by FC Barcelona to Singapore and Southeast Asia to ensure their correct development in each territory.
- Search for new international sponsorship opportunities, specifically in APAC to establish a strategy, coordinated and aligned action that favors the global interests of the Clubs with which we collaborate.
- Coordination with the sports department of the company to ensure the optimized development of the activities of the Barça Academy and Sporting Academy within the territory. Establish needs in terms of technical staff according to the specificity of the specific territory so that they adapt to the market in a successful way.
- Coordination with the different departments of the Clubs to ensure optimum functioning of the projects following the procedures and contractual conditions established by the Clubs.

**Other duties.**
- Define, implement and monitor the BARÇA and SPORTING methodology.
- Innovation. Participate in the development of R&D projects and in the implementation of new technology that increases the efficiency of the project.
- Camps projects in the APAC region. Comply and ensure operation of Barça Camps under the rules and guidelines set by the Technical Team, carrying out the preparation, monitoring and evaluation of the same.
- International Tournaments. Creation and realization of new competitive events that contribute to competitive and formative development of all players who participate in these new competitions.

**Qualifications, Experience & Skillsets**:

- Bachelors degree in Sports Development or higher
- 10+ years of experience in football development, working in one of Europe’s top football clubs. This specific know-how is a must have for this role.
- Strong existing network and relationships within the global football community and specifically in Europe with clubs from the top 5 leagues.
- A strong background in building high performing teams within the football industry
- In-depth knowledge of the global youth football development market
- Bi-lingual: Spanish and English, as a large part of the role involves communication with key stakeholders in Spain.
