**Job Summary**
This role will lead the Supply Chain organisation to ensure strategic, customer services and operational imperatives are achieved. Lead & direct execution of all supply chain activities, including order fulfilment (delivery & documentation creation), supply planning (materials and inventory planning), logistics and transportation, to exceed customer expectation at lowest cost. The role also delivers metrics and related activities within the SCM team to drive supply chain alignment with both internal and external customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Strengthen end-to-end supply chain function to achieve cost-down targets and diversify supply risks.**
- Monitor and control inventory management activities for maximum order fulfilment to end customers, including that of tactfully resolving urgent shipments to ensure on-time delivery for mínimal business impacts.
- Lead and oversee smooth supply chain, purchasing and logistics activities, including that of good inventory allocation to required internal and external stakeholders involved.
- Develop scalable business processes to drive better decisions in supply chain management, such as cost management, performance metrics, supplier selection, etc.
- Interface with cross-functional stakeholders, such as Engineering, Finance, Factory, Operations and Logistics, to understand the business objectives, identify the gaps in the current process, and drive solutions.
- Define key supplier performance metrics, develop data collection and reporting processes, analyse the data, and drive improvement actions.
2. **Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor**
- Involved in customer escalations, monitoring their use of products/services offered and exploring opportunities to grow business with them.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal teams working to ensure consistency.
- Translate strategy into implementation programs to deliver market competitiveness.
- Spearhead supply chain continuous improvement program to ensure Supply Chain Excellence.
**Required Skills and Experience**
- Relevant degree in Business/ Supply Chain Management
- At least 5 years’ experience in Procurement/Supply Chain. Prior experience/exposure in Logistics is preferred.
- Able to effectively manage inventory, through historical analysis and forward planning through forecast analysis.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Creativity in developing actionable analysis and recommendations.
- Ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast paced, collaborative environment.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Able to work with ERP/MRP.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
