We are looking for a Research Fellow to support the research for the project on building energy management with AI.
Key Responsibilities:
The Research Fellow will be responsible for undertaking in-depth research in the AI solutions for building energy management to improve the building energy efficiency toward net-zero energy building. They will be working closely with the team members on one or more research projects together in terms of interesting and challenging real-world datasets and problem statements.-
- Investigate and analyze real dataset availability and lead dataset generation.- Demonstrate AI solutions on real world testbeds.- Publish high-quality research papers with research outcomes in top-tier international journals and conferences.
Job Requirements:
- PhD Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field- A thorough knowledge of the research field of AI (e.g., deep reinforcement learning) and energy management (e.g., building energy management) is highly preferred.- Experienced in building energy system models by professional software, e.g., TRNSYS, EnergyPlus, or Matlab Simulink- Experienced in using the latest AI, and big data platforms.- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
