**Summary**:
Builds and leads a team of talented Customer Intelligence professionals to support sales through domain and business expertise on the Customer Intelligence domain across EMEAP (Emerging Middle East and Asia Pacific).
Works in across domains to assist sales teams, pre-sales teams, senior and executive management in different territories in EMEAP to maximize revenue opportunities in Customer Intelligence and Marketing domain and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Builds trusted relationships with sales teams and client accounts, such that they can leverage their domain and/or business/industry expertise to increase the company’s credibility and communicate the company value proposition primarily in sales situations that advance the sales of SAS Customer Intelligence software. Ensures that proper expectations are set to ensure customer satisfaction. This may involve the delivery of compelling software demonstrations as appropriate to the sales situation.
- Develops the Customer Intelligence Go-To-Market model across EMEAP and customize it with each territory with the local/regional Sales teams.
- Builds a center of excellence with highly skilled customer intelligence team
- Strategizes with sales and pre-sales teams on customer intelligence initiatives. Understands how this activity relates to overall sales plan and provides strategic leadership for sales opportunities.
- Clearly articulates the breadth and value of software and the company in Customer Intelligence domain and in respective business/industry area. Clearly states how SAS Customer Intelligence platform differentiates from the competition.
- Work with the sales team in across industries (Banking, Telecommunications, Utilities, Insurance and Retail etc.) on Personalized Marketing, Digital Marketing, Customer Intelligence & Customer Decisioning activities to maximize revenue opportunities and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction
- Provide consultative approach, including marketing advisory recommendations to support proposed marketing solutions and possess technical aptitude to solve marketing challenges based on SAS core competencies in customer intelligence domain.
- Translate business requirements into SAS solutions and link to business value.
- Prepares technical demonstrations, proof of concepts, and presentations based on client needs.
- Drive go-to-market strategies & initiatives on customer intelligence & marketing solutions including product positioning, pricing, proposals, and models
- Involvement in account and territory planning for SAS Customer Intelligence value propositions
- Lead Customer Experience and Marketing Maturity Assessments
- Ability to advise to C-Levels from Business and IT side on multi-year engagement roadmaps to achieve best business outcomes using SAS technology & experience
- Ability to advise customers on their digital transformation and customer experience journey by articulating SAS Customer Intelligence and AI suite
- Ability to articulate importance of leveraging AI & centralized decisioning platforms in customer experience and communication initiatives
- Works with product marketing, product management, sales and R&D groups to validate market driven sales approaches to support strategic analytics initiatives and ensure customer and market direction input is reflected in ongoing releases.
- Supports to build a partner ecosystem for SAS Customer Intelligence solutions
- Proactively drives customer retention efforts.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
**Business/Industry Focus**
- As the Customer Intelligence and Marketing leader, understands marketing & customer experience needs of entire EMEAP territory with focus on Banking, Telecommunications, Utilities, Insurance and Retail etc. and specific marketing processes within organizations where SAS customer intelligence value propositions can be deployed to support.
- Through orchestration within the customer intelligence team, supports new business development, demo and value proposition creation and execute PoC/PoVs.
- Proactively communicates knowledge to sales colleagues and other non-technical sales functions that empower the field to identify opportunities and successfully positions the SAS Customer intelligence software appropriately in the business funct
