About This Role:
Forrester’s advisory product is a core offering in our consulting services portfolio. The advisory product provides our clients the opportunity to engage with Forrester experts in tailored, interactive experiences that help educate on trends and inspire new ideas and approaches. The advisory program management team facilitates the tailoring and management of the delivery of these experience to clients.

The Manager of Advisory Consulting performs advisory engagements across the APAC region and leads a team of program managers to help clients meet their key overall business objectives through structured advisory relationships.

Primarily, this role encompasses five key areas:
Managing the APAC advisory program management team (currently three people). Ensuring Forrester advisory policies and processes are followed; acting as the first point of escalation for issues related to advisory. Actively leading and managing change related to the planned evolution of the advisory product portfolio over the next 12 to 18 months. Actively participating in the design and rollout of a PMO function that will support all custom engagements across APAC. Managing shared services function that provides support across the Advisory and Consulting portfolio, such as design and editing.

The role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously while working with internal and external stakeholders across teams and seniority (research analysts, consultants, sales, marketing, and senior-level client stakeholders).

**Job Description**:

- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with research analysts; consulting colleagues; and customer success and account sales teams.
- Work with analysts to develop in-depth understanding of content for product offerings and with account teams to understand client’s challenges while facilitating alignment between the two. Develop and deliver proactive advisory agendas, proposals, and programs.
- Colloborate with account managers to educate clients and prospects on the value of advisory consulting and services available.
- Motivate a team of program managers (PMs). Drive team performance to meet revenue under management (RUM) targets; train new PMs on the advisory business and PM responsibilities and help boost their career.
- Achieve a quarterly revenue under management and bookings goal.
- Manage the execution of all tasks related to advisory engagements for clients. Ensure an effective scheduling of calls, note-taking, event management, and facilitation and expectation setting.
- Utilize internal systems to document and maintain the health and status of potential opportunities, engagements in flight, and those at risk of postponement/cancellation.
- Partner with the global advisory product team to ensure that APAC is representative in key product design changes.
- Lead change management activities as new advisory product portfolio is deployed over the next 12 to 18 months.
- Partner with the global consulting leadership team to design, launch, and manage a PMO function in APAC.

Job Requirements:

- A strong academic record or a comparable experience.
- At least six to eight years’ project and client management, management consultancy, or equivalent experience; history of managing high-performing teams.
- Excellence in marketing, project management, business development, and project scoping.
- The ability to collaborate with sales and delivery organizations to creatively architect consulting solutions that meet clients’ needs, including structuring methodologies and writing winning proposals.
- Success in managing change related to product design and delivery.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal); additional spoken languages across the APAC region (i.e., Japanese, Mandarin, or Bahasa) are a plus.
- Mental sharpness, keen attention to detail, and outstanding organizational skills.
- Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking.
- A strong intellectual curiosity about business and consumers and the impact that technology has on them.
