**Detail**:

- Reporting directly to the CFO, the Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and decision-making process of the company.
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including leading the preparation of financial reporting, budgeting, and budget control analysis.
- Proactive mindset as a finance business partner to management & commercial team to enable financially sustainable growth.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial outcomes and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
- In charge of the accuracy and timely delivery of monthly financial closing of multiple legal entities in Singapore, China and Ireland on consolidated basis.
- Devise and ensure compliance of the accounting policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Coordinate with external auditors with regard to statutory audits of respective multiple legal entities.
- Review and monitor the required tax declaration of respective legal entities to local tax authorities.
- Provide financial/operating data based on management/external stakeholder's request.

**Requirements**:

- Location: Based in Singapore
- Strategic mindset with a focus on supporting business value and growth.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proven experience in financial management, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills, strong logic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams internally and various stakeholders externally.
- Proficiency in using and maintaining financial accounting software systems. Experience in Xero will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in a start-up or high-growth company is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred.
- 5 years or above experience in the finance function and able to handle a full set of accounts
- Good knowledge of the Singapore Financial Reporting Standard or Chartered Accountant
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese with good written and verbal communication skills to work with English and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
