hadros Recruitment is working alongside a leading Energy-as-a-Solutions provider with an establish portfolio of Renewable Energy assets across Asia, and they are currently looking for an experienced and highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations and reporting activities of their operations across the Asia-Pacific region.

This critical role will play a pivotal part in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining robust internal controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and success.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the overall accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard the company's assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and project management, to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insightful reports and recommendations to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and financial goals.
- Oversee the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and facilitate smooth audits.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes, providing financial expertise and guidance to support the company's growth initiatives.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, and financial control roles, preferably within the Renewable Energy, Construction, Infrastructure, or Power industries.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop team members.
- Proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and financial reporting processes.
