
Technical Account Manager Lead, Customer

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a customer-facing role, communicating with stakeholders, driving customer technical implementation, or programs.
- Experience managing, scaling, mentoring, and running a technical team.
- Experience managing a technical team, and working across business units internally and at enterprises.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience supporting customers in cloud operations (e.g., launch and capacity planning, product release management), technical support, escalation management, or IT consulting.
- Ability to speak and write fluently in Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, and/or Thai to foster and develop key relationships with new and existing Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, and/or Thai-speaking partners in APAC.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time, as needed.

Our Professional Services Organization in Google Cloud delivers product and implementation expertise to our strategic customers to help them get the most out of their Google Cloud investments.
As as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) Lead, you will be responsible for a team that ensures customers get the most value from their Google Cloud Platform investments. You will lead and mentor a team of TAMs to establish lasting customer relationships by providing customers with technical and project management leadership that aligns directly to the customers’ larger business objectives.
In this role, you will help ensure quality for all Customer Experience engagements, maintaining effective Field Sales team relationships. You will support the team in making customers in your region successful. You will develop relationships with key stakeholders, helping you to deliver on the business requirements and goals of business executives and IT stakeholders. The team will be seen as trusted technical advisors who understand enterprise IT’s strategic and architectural challenges, and are able to engage directly with executives, architects, and developers at our partners and large enterprise customers. You will also share best practices with team members in other regions and will place an emphasis on shared success across the team.

**Responsibilities**:
- Accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud by leading the implementation journey. Provide technical guidance and manage timelines, milestones, migration goal, and business transformation strategies.
- Advocate for customer needs in order to overcome adoption blockers and drive feature development. Lead across multiple workstreams and teams to maintain customer momentum.
- Develop strategic relationships with stakeholders (e.g., C-Suite, IT team) to understand a customer’s business and develop strategic roadmaps. Direct quarterly business reviews and executive sessions to better understand business and technical needs.
- Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with Support and Engineering to ensure customer success during critical moments. Work with customers and support to guide issues/escalations to resolution.
- Develop best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements to help support initiatives to scale through partners and accelerate cloud adoption.
