**What the role is**
- Description of Group - Family Development Group (FDG): Family Development Group (FDG) strengthen and support families to realise the vision of making Singapore the best place for family life through our policies, programmes and publicity efforts. Description of Division - Family Promotion and Partnership (FPP): We promote family-centric campaigns, parenting and marriage programmes and forms partnerships with industry stakeholders and volunteers to promote and strengthen families. Strong families are the building blocks of a caring community. We want to help families realise their hopes and aspirations and strengthen familial bonds.

**What you will be working on**
- As part of the dynamic team at FPP, you will review, formulate and implement key policies and programmes through strategic planning of regional upstream and preventive social service implementation to the community. You will play an important role in ensuring effective policy and programme implementation through gaining a good grasp of ground needs, developing good solutions and working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities - Strategic planning of regional implementation of upstream and preventive social services to the community with operational feasibility - To cultivate and engage stakeholders, partners and volunteers from the regional community - To engage and understand the parenting needs of the residents from the regional community. - Review administrative data to identify demographic needs and enable service planning. Eg. using software to identify where to start outreach and how to roll out programmes (URA e-planner, GeoSpace, Q-gis) - Work closely with HQ team to evaluate programme and service offerings for the regional implementation based on demographic and social trends, and feedback from the ground

**What we are looking for**
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline preferably majoring in social sciences (psychology, social work or related discipline) - Excellent written, communication and project management skills - Strong analytical, qualitative, conceptualization and problem-solving skills - Ability to take a broad strategic perspective - Driven and self-motivated, able to multi-task - Must be prepared to do community outreach, including home visits. - Able to work, engage and communicate well with different internal and external stakeholders - A team player who is willing to commit to a fast paced albeit fulfilling work
