**Team / division overview**
**Your responsibilities**
You will play an instrumental role to the firm’s growth ambition in the South East Asia region, particularly in Thailand as one of the markets that we are looking to grow:
- Strengthen relationships with institutional clients and intermediaries in Thailand, including Central Bank, Pension, Insurance, Endowment, Asset Managers, Banks, Securities firms, Digital platforms.
- Work closely with the Head of Xtrackers Sales for South East Asia, to deepen existing client relationships and expand the client base in Thailand, in order to achieve the assigned Sales KPIs for South East Asia region on Xtrackers.
- The individual is expected to play a proactive role in facilitating business growth in Thailand, by addressing client needs, delivering value add service, identifying pipelines, and diligent follow ups with clients in order to close the opportunities.
- Be an efficient team player, by collaborating with the rest of APAC Xtrackers Sales team, as well as the broader South East Asia institutional and intermediaries coverage teams in Singapore. The role also requires close collaboration with global teams in Europe and US.
We are looking for
- Degree qualified in finance related discipline.
- Have 4-6 years relevant experience (Sales or Product Specialist) covering institutional clients and/or intermediaries in Thailand, with existing networks / relationships in Thailand.
- Fluent Thai speaker (Thai language proficiency is a must, given the role will be covering institutional and intermediary clients in Thailand, and will involve frequent travels to Thailand).
- Good understanding and passion for ETF and index investing
- Strong technical skills and working experience with various asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and market drivers, to facilitate meaningful dialogue with clients
- Team player, good communicator, with strong influencing skills.
