[What the role is]
ASSISTANT MANAGER, EV INDUSTRY
[What you will be working on]
You will be working with the team to achieve the following:
- Whole Of Government (WOG) engagements: Servicing contact points for WOG agencies; Working within the CentEx team to align and support WOG efforts where needed; Supporting and growing the EV Community Of Practice (COP), which brings together key stakeholders for knowledge sharing and discussions on WOG electrification.
- Building tech-related capabilities: Managing a data base of vehicle and chargers to advice WOG agencies where required. Perform necessary technology surveys and search for WOG specific vehicles/chargers, also in relation to WOG needs; Carry out industry enquiries and interactions on existing product models, including exploring opportunity for specialized or bespoked models. Interface with R&D roles by supporting tech evaluation and providing WOG problem statements.
- Growing the unified/coordinated framework for WOG: Expand upon the coordinated framework for WOG EV charger deployment, in both public and non-public facing car parks, working closely with WOG agencies and LTA’s subsidiary, EVe, to roll out demand aggregation packages. This includes alignment in planning parameters, archetypes in charger deployments etc. across WOG agencies. Interface and assist in project management of LTA internal fleet/charger deployment projects.
- Reporting: Prepare presentation materials for stakeholders and apprising management of work as needed.
[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary qualification in any discipline
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- Experiences or knowledge about electric vehicles or charging infrastructure is advantageous.
