**Principal responsibilities**
- Manage and enhance existing relationships with Japanese Corporates subsidiaries in Singapore.
- Identify opportunities and develop business with target clients who have a presence in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- Communicate with clients closely to show HSBC’s strong capability and commitment within the region
- Collaborate with bankers in other sites across the globe and Coverage teams in Japan
- Maximise revenue and customer value at individual relationship level
- Assure quality service for all customers by owning customer engagement, and ensuring service excellence at all times, for all aspects of any customer, prospect or professional’s interaction with HSBC

**Requirements**:

- Japanese language proficiency
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proven ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive, resilient and able to get things done despite constraints
- Demonstrate business development capabilities
- Experience in relationship management and/or a track record of building & developing dialogue with clients
- An understanding of credit risk analysis, credit policies and processes
- A basic understanding of transaction banking products (Cash management, Trade finance,

Credit & lending, Foreign Exchange etc.
- Preferably, some previous experience in dealing with large Japanese corporate clients
