About the Team
The Datacenter Infrastructure Engineering team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyperscale datacenters. The team manages the end to end lifecycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions and various infrastructure services ensuring that they are scalable and are reliable.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage a team of Data Center Technicians to attend to Server Hardware Break fixes / Software troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely with various internal teams and external partners in executing data center projects, facility and audits (Security / Internal / External).
- Work with our CoLocation partners and internal teams to ensure high risk activities (i.e. Maintenance) that might impact our availability will be properly addressed using change management process, disaster recovery procedures and platform.
- Work with our CoLocation partners to ensure the required security policies (i.e. Vendor access) are being complied and accounted for.
Minimum Qualifications (At least 1 of the below)
- Related Diploma with 5 years of related experience in Data Center Environment
- Related Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of related experience in Data Center Environment
- Equivalent professional experience/certification in Engineering or facility management.
Minimum Soft Skills / Work Experience
- Have a reasonable amount of working experience in managing data center facilities, supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- Be Passionate about how hyperscale Data Center works
- Reasonable communication and written skills
- Be willing to learn new server technologies as we evolve (i.e. Direct on-chip cooling, Immersion cooling tank)
- Be willing to learn, document and share best work / industry practices with everyone and grow as a team.
- Be willing to create a positive work experience for everyone to contribute/learn/grow with mutual respect and dignity despite working in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Be willing to channel all creative energies to develop processes to make this a better workplace for everyone and avoid creating silos and division between teams.
- Have working knowledge and experience in at least one of the following core areas: Networking, Scripting, and Hardware Repair.
Preferred Qualification
- Have experience of leading a team of technicians and engineers in a data center environment
- Experience on direct-on chip cooling and immersion tank cooling on IT rack
- Basic understanding of Linux
