Senior Assistant Director, IT Planning, Governance

Responsibilities
Function as the secretariat for the IT Strategic Planning committee- Work with CITS Senior Leadership Team, key stakeholders to establish the multi-year IT Strategic Plan and the annual IT workplan,- Perform research on the technology trend and adoption in the education sector, as providing inputs for the development of the IT Strategic Plan.- Develop the documents for the IT Strategic Plan and the annual IT Workplan.
Responsible for the establishment of the IT Capabilities development roadmap- Work with the Functional Directors to establish the IT Capabilities development plan.- Work with Functional Directors and HR Business partner on enhancing the IT job family and competencies.- Perform research on IT upskilling and reskilling offering in the market and referencing the competency framework such as the Skills Framework from skill future.- Plan and coordinate the Adaptive Skill 4.0, Technology Brownbag, LearnTogether, and Book Review sessions.- Develop the training plan for CITS staff, in consultation with the Functional Directors.
Responsible for establishing, enhancing, managing, and governing the end-to-end Enterprise IT Architecture and framework for the University to achieve business-IT alignment.- Work with the Functional Directors to develop and maintain the Enterprise-wide IT Architecture Framework, as common blueprint for the University in achieving cost efficiency, and alignment with the University Strategic direction.- Architecture will cover the Learning System, Enterprise Admin System, Cyber Security System, Infrastructure, and Data.-
- Incorporation of IT continuity into the design and aligning with NTU Business Continuity Plan.-
- Adoption of best practices in the design.-
- Develop and maintain the policies and procedures.-
- Participate as a key member in the Solution Review Committee and provide inputs on IT systems & solutions and aligning with the overall IT Architecture.
Lead the ISO Certification- Lead and manage the ISO 20000 audit.- Secondary coordinator for the NTU BCP committee for IT.- Participate in the ISO 27001 certification and the review and enhancement of the Information Security Management System.
**Requirements**:
Educational Qualification(s)- Possess Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related disciplines.- Certification in TOGAF, ITIL and ISO 20000 would be an added advantage.
Knowledge Required- Technology trend and their adoption in the education sector.- Enterprise Architecture framework and processes.- Application and use cases on AI, Automation and Analytics.- ITIL processes, and risk management processes.
Relevant Experience-
- Have hands-on experience in developing IT Architecture and IT strategies.- Experience in working collaboratively across teams and leading others through problem solving challenges would be advantageous.- Experience in working in CIO Office would be preferred.
