Review loan origination requirements, workflows, and business rules including customer eligibility, credit scoring (perform by different team), document verification, and disbursement criteria.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, or Tosca relevant frameworks tailored to the loan origination system. Create reusable and modular test components to improve maintainability.
- Document and communicate test cases, scripts and seek approval from project stakeholders on the test scope.
- Prepare test data that simulates various loan applicant profiles, credit scores (to support data when the need arise), loan types, and repayment schedules.
- Integrate automated tests into e2e scenarios flow to enable frequent and reliable regression testing of loan origination features.
- Execute manual tests to validate loan processing accuracy, workflow integrity, and user interface functionality.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to detect issues in loan calculations, workflow transitions, and third-party integrations.
- Log and track defects related to loan calculations, approval workflows, document handling, and integration points such as credit bureaus or payment systems.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and developers to clarify ambiguous requirements and ensure compliance with lending regulations.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and update automation scripts/test cases based on evolving loan product features.
- Maintain test data sets that reflect diverse loan scenarios, including different loan products, customer profiles, and repayment plans in the entity-in-test.
