AV Engineer/Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining audio-visual systems used for educational and administrative purposes. This role involves working closely with faculty, staff, and students to ensure seamless operation of AV equipment in classrooms, lecture halls, meeting rooms, and other campus spaces.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular checks/maintenance on AV systems to ensure reliable and optimal performance.
- Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students for AV equipment and systems.
- Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot issues to resolution.
- Develop training materials and provide workshops for faculty and staff on the use of AV equipment.
- Create and maintain documentation for AV system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborate with IT departments, instructional designers, and facilities management to coordinate AV system installations and upgrades.
- Participate in campus committees or projects related to technology integration in education.
- Provide technical support for university events, conferences, and presentations that involve audio-visual components.
- Coordinate with event organizers to ensure AV requirements are met.
- Conduct regular audits of AV equipment to ensure compliance with university standards. Implement quality control measures to maintain consistent audio-visual quality across campus.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor Dgree or Diploma in Audio-Visual Technology, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Good communication skill.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Previous experience in managing AV systems in an educational or similar environment.
- Familiarity with educational technology trends and best practices.
- Relevant certifications, such as InfoComm CTS or those specific to educational technology, may be beneficial.
- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows, iOS desktop level 1 support.
- 2+ years of providing support as a Level 1- Help Desk, Technical Remote Support/ Server, Desktop Support or Systems Administrator providing End User Support.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to address user needs in a timely and courteous manner.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting various AV equipment, including projectors, interactive displays, lecture capture systems, and audio systems.
- Knowledge of video conferencing solutions commonly used in education.
- Ability to adapt to the dynamic and evolving nature of technology in education.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on emerging AV trends and solutions.
