**Head of Backoffice Operations at Hedge Fund Manager
Aravali is an award winning, Singapore based hedge fund that trades across FX, rates, commodities, volatility, equity and credit globally but with a particular focus on Asian markets, in Arbitrage Strategies and Macro strategies

We are looking to hire a head of Backoffice Operations to manage front to back aspects of operations and fund and Investment Manager accounting. The team already has 3 operations head count in Mumbai, India, along with 2 other personnel helping out on payments and automation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the team of back office operations as well as provide hands-on work on all aspects of booking, settlement, reconciliation and valuation of trades.
- Co-ordinating with Prime Brokers, bilateral counterparties, and exchange clearing members for daily reconciliation of trades and cash settlements.
- Co-ordinating with fund administrator on trade reconciliations, shadow NAV, and monthly NAV calculations
- Onboarding with prime and other brokers across a range of markets
- Working on legal contracts / documents for brokerage relationships globally
- Valuation across exchanges / OTC instruments for the above asset classes
- Any other duties that may be required to assist the investment team
- Manage Accounting entries in the official software

**Qualifications**
- 8+ years of experience in a similar role at either a fund or an administrator
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Accounting background a strong plus
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask
- Must be strongly proactive and diligent in following up on all tasks
