[What the role is]
As a Legal Counsel in Legal Division, you will be part of a team providing a comprehensive range of in-house legal services to meet CAAS' organisational goals and operational needs and supporting the Authority, management and all CAAS Divisions in carrying out CAAS' functions. These functions include aviation safety and economic regulation, air transport and air-hub/airport development and industry promotion, air navigation services provision, representing Singapore at the International Civil Aviation Organization and other international fora and provision of aviation training. The Division also handles insurance matters.

[What we are looking for]
- Trained in Law, qualified under the Legal Profession Act and preferably with practice experience
- Willing to work hard and under pressure and to handle a wide range of legal work in a dynamic and challenging environment
- Self-motivated, independent and a good team player
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage and interact at different levels
- Prior experience in handling leases, conveyancing and related property matters, criminal prosecution or civil litigation, procurement and other contracts, intellectual and other property matters, employment issues and/or insurance procurement is preferred. If you do not have such prior experience, willingness to acquire the requisite knowledge on the job speedily is expected. Prior experience or a strong Interest in aviation, regulatory and /or public sector in-house counsel work would be an advantage
