**Job Title: Golf Operations Manager**

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
The Golf Operation Manager will play a key role in the golf operations department. He/she will be responsible for leading a comprehensive Golf Operations team which will operate all of the day-to-day operations of Laguna National’s 2 championship golf courses.
- Supervise and manage Golf Operations staff including Executives, Bell-Hop, Buggy Fleet Attendants, Starters, and Marshals
- Ensure proper and efficient communication between the Pro-Shop/CSA staff and Golf Operations staff to promote seamless service to members and visitors.
- Compile and prepare monthly reports for Golf Operations
- Control and coordinate the operation of all club and corporate golf events
- Continually improve existing club events and seek to add more club events as necessary to ensure an active and well-attended calendar of golf activities
- Manage, supervise and guide all applicable staff by training, delegating and problem-solving before and during event operation
- Build and maintain a strong knowledge and understanding of our Corporate Event sales program and support the sales team where necessary.
- Work with the Corporate/Events Sales Department to build and enhance corporate merchandise sales
- Act as a key operational leader during all international PGA events.
- Handle incident & accident issues reported like dangerous play, slow play, buggy or club damage, hole in one etc.
- Follow up on complaints received pertaining to the incidents or accidents and compile and collate witnesses’ statements from staff on duty and members involved.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of talented staff in Golf Operations.
- Respond to all member and guest concerns with diplomacy and professionalism while also upholding the Club’s bye-laws and policy
- Operate and make decisions with the best interest of the club in mind at all times.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Assist the General Manager, Golf Club with assigned projects and tasks as necessary

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role
- Experience/knowledge of golf is preferred
- Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- A great attitude with an attention to customer service/satisfaction is essential.
- This role requires weekend/ Public Holidays as needed for operation of events and club-related activities within the role.
