- OtherThe Quality & Productivity Division drives efforts to uplift the quality of care and promote a culture of continuous improvement in the Community Care sector.***

Within the Division, the Quality Systems & Planning team examines current research, standards and trends and translates them into new approaches to advance the quality of community care, working closely with AIC Divisions, Community Care Organisations (CCOs), Regional Health Systems, Ministry of Health, and other stakeholders. The team’s current focus areas include quality management, quality assurance, quality measurement and building a quality culture within the sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- Strengthen leadership and quality culture within the sector, through:
- Reviewing best practices and developing initiatives to enable a stronger quality culture, and leadership behaviours that drive improvement and innovation
- Developing a quality culture survey/assessment tool to engage and guide CCOs in improvement plans
- Identifying quality improvement priorities aligned with national priorities and desired outcomes for seniors.
- Support sector capability building for quality, through:
- Developing resources and tools to support quality management systems within CCOs
- Reviewing quality-related training for the sector and the core competencies needed to support quality planning, quality improvement and quality control within CCOs
- Work with internal divisions and training partners to close any training gaps
- Support and align sector enablement strategies for the sector through:
- Working closely with AIC divisions to ensure synergy with other sector enablement strategies (e.g.: manpower, digitalisation) to achieve sector goals
- Reviewing and developing new initiatives to address emerging needs and care models, e.g. person-centred care, quality of life

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience in a quality role, e.g.: quality improvement methods such as Lean management, Design Thinking, and knowledge of the community care sector would be an advantage
- Strong project management skills and is self-motivated and proactive
- Effective interpersonal and engagement skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for quality and ageing issues
- Resilient and results-oriented
