Ramboll Singapore is on the lookout for a dynamic Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer to enhance our Energy Transition Team. Your expertise in Offshore Substations HVDC and HVAC conceptual design, FEED, detailed engineering, and EPIC is a minimum requirement, paired with proficiency in installation and commissioning of electrical & electrical control systems, and your experience and knowledge in emerging energy transition markets like Offshore Energy, Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS), Bioenergy & Power Generation, Power-to-X, Waste to Energy or energy intensive industries, such as Data Centres will be highly beneficial.

You'll tackle a variety of challenging tasks on a global basis across borders and timelines and assume significant responsibility in your position as Senior / Lead Electrical Engineer. You enjoy working both independently and together with co-workers, from both the engineering team and the EPC team thus experience in both design and installation/commissioning is preferred. You will engage with multiple stakeholders during the execution; thus, teamwork is essential to achieve results.

**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- Lead the electrical discipline in multidiscipline project teams in all project phases from early development through to construction phase.
- Liaison with management, clients, and suppliers.
- Perform design and lead electrical studies and calculations for LV, MV/HV systems.
- Ensures that the deliverables from the discipline meet the contract specifications and that the discipline team is following the project plans (e.g. Project Execution Plan).
- Establishes and communicates the project goals and success criteria to the management and discipline team.
- Reports progress and any deviations to the Project / Engineering Manager.
- Manages all changes and variations within the discipline in a timely manner.
- Follow-up of quality assurance documentation.
- You will be expected to evaluate, select, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform task or sequence of tasks for your team and align with the project team.
- Assists in creating proposals for HVDC & HVAC projects in terms of proposal documents and engineering estimates (man hours, budget, and other method statements)
- Assists in performing engineering risk analysis including change management (in case of additional scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications, etc.) for the proposals and projects.
- Create work plans and cost estimates in your area of responsibility.

These include:

- have a degree or master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- a minimum of 10+ years’ experience
- have extensive experience in electrical offshore engineering, preferably with offshore substations (OSS) HVDC & HVAC design as well as installation & commissioning.
- comprehensive understanding of offshore OSS design standards and codes is preferred (e.g., DNV-ST-0145) and electrical international standards (e.g. IEC, IEEE)
- have experience with transmission cable systems, electrical layout and cable pulling strategies.
- have experience with typical OSS interfaces from design phase to procurement, vendors, shop drawing preparations, materials, installation, layout, safety, cable routing, equipment tagging, numbering & marking, testing, and quality.
- be fami
