**We are currently seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our team and design exceptional, user-centered products and experiences for our new freelance marketplace platform. If you possess a keen eye for detail, a creative mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences, we would love to hear from you**
- **Responsibility**_
- Collaborating closely with the product owner, development team, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, business requirements, and project goals
- Designing user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas
- Executing visual design stages from wireframes to be ready for engineering
- Developing visually engaging, consistent, and on-brand UI elements, including typography, color schemes, and iconography
- Conducting user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate on user feedback
- Staying up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and techniques to ensure the platform remains competitive and innovative
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure a consistent user experience across the platform
- **Objectives of this role**_
- Create user-friendly, visually appealing, and intuitive interfaces that meet the needs of our diverse user base, while maintaining the highest standards of usability and design excellence, and deliver a delightful and efficient user experience.
- **We hope we also attract someone who is;**_
- 5+ years of professional user experience/product design experience
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Art/Design, or equivalent professional experience
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written in English)
- Working experience at a fast-paced tech startup
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision, UXPin, Quartz
- An understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript
- Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
