**Job description**

Claims Processing

a) To clarify with the grantees on their claim submissions if the claims documentation is incomplete

b) To handle and respond to all queries by grantees in relation to the processing of their claims

c) To process the claim submissions by performing checks to ensure the fund requisition forms are true and correct.

Checks shall include:

- Items claimed are as stated in the Letter of Award, grant proposal and approved detailed budget
- All items claimed are incurred within the qualifying period and allowable as per the Guidelines for the Management of Research Grants (“Guidelines”), the Terms and Conditions and the Letter of Award
- Claims must exclude non-fundable items as listed in the above Guidelines
- SFA’s confirmation on the technical milestones/site visit verification has been obtained

d) To compute the final claim amount according to the Guidelines, Terms and Conditions and Letter of Award of the grant and prepare the standard disbursement memo after processing the claim

e) To seek SFA’s approval for disbursement of verified claim submission and funds drawdown from NRF Reporting

f) To update the monthly claims aging report (template provided by Agency). The report tracks the disbursements of the projects, how much claims were received and not paid, and how long the claims have been outstanding.

g) To update the claims tracking report. The report tracks the stage of disbursement workflow the claims are in.

h) To collate the quarterly claim submissions and prepare the report on funds drawdown from NRF

i) To manage the submission of audit reports by grantees via reminders’ sending Other Duties

j) To support the planning, budgeting and forecasting of the annual budget of the funding initiatives

k) To collate the required documentation related to claims processing for audit purposes

l) To support ad-hoc duties (e.g. SFS Steering Committee secretariat functions and grant proposal evaluation)

**Job Requirements**

Shall have at least a degree in Accounting or equivalent; and

Shall have at least two (2) years working experience in similar services

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 36 months
