The role of the Senior Designer is to provide support to Pomeroy Studio and Pomeroy Academy’s Management and Project Team’s delivery of projects. A resourceful and flexible approach is required to manage daily project workflow and tasks. The Senior Designer must be able to multi-task, demonstrate initiative, self-motivation and be proactive in the best interest of the Company. The position requires a high degree of creative flair, a solid understanding of passive and active green design principles, design/project management capability, organisational skills, and a team working ethos in a fast-paced creative environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Take direction from the project leader and contribute to the project’s design evolution
- Develop design solutions from the conceptual level through construction documentation
- Organise teams to effectively deliver effective project tasks
- Manage design and visualisations utilising 2D/3D software
- Coordinate with the Project Director, client team, project manager, consultants, academics, and vendors
- Manage tasks and deliverables to follow project timelines
- Conduct site visits/inspections relating to design briefing, project/research technical coordination and review
- Responsible for the coordination and quality standards of lectures, presentations, publications, specifications, and drawing packages
- Responsible for the update, review, and reporting on the related APEX/project trackers
- Manage the production, e-filing, and archiving of document sets
- Assist with the management of junior designers and mentorship of interns
- Participate in the studio’s related marketing initiatives and events
- Contribute to the studio’s research and development activities
- Flexibility to travel throughout Southeast Asia as and when required

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related design field
- 5+ years of project experience in various project sectors and sizes
- Professional registration, affiliation and/or other accreditation preferred
- Knowledge of plant species, materials and landscape specification
- A rigorous understanding of sustainable urbanism best practice principles
- Knowledge and experience in CAD, Sketch up/Revit, Lumion
- Proficiency in Adobe (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and MS Office Suite and relevant 2D/3D software
- Possess strong verbal and written communication, graphic and organisational skills
- In-depth knowledge of relevant design codes, standards and compliance in the SEA context
- Excellent problem-analysis and resolution skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of an effective team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
- Self-motivated and able to take responsibility
- Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to prioritise daily tasks
- Able to cope with multiple demands while remaining professional at all times
- A flexible and open attitude towards new methods of collaboration
- An entrepreneurial spirit
