The role will be required to oversee and manage the hospital's facilities, equipment and building systems effectively and efficiently, and to ensure a safe and conducive Environment of Care (EOC) for patients, visitors and staff is provided for at all times.
In overall, the role is to assist the Director, Hospital Planning & Infrastructure (HP&I) and Facilities Management (FM) Manager and lead Facilities Management (FM) and Maintenance Services (MS) staff to provide excellent service standards for Facilities Management and Safety (FMS) that meet Joint Commission International (JCI), ISO, Ministry of Health (MOH) and all regulatory standards.
**Responsibilities include the following: **
Work together with the Facilities Management staff and user departments in meeting their facility upgrading and renovation needs.
Experience in handling waterproofing, concrete works, construction structural & roofing works.
Work closely with vendors, contractors and suppliers to deliver better products and quality of finishing in a timely manner.
Adopt best practices from other hospitals such as implementing cost effective, simpler and faster ways of carrying out maintenance work and daily operations.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS **
Degree in Architectural, Civil and Structural Engineering or Building Engineering preferred.
Knowledge of hospital operations and experience in managing a team will be preferred.
Good written, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
