**Role Summary**

We are looking for a highly skilled Workplace Technology Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role involves offering comprehensive technical support to employees, addressing both hardware and software issues to ensure mínimal disruption to their work. Additionally, the role requires continuously seeking to improve all aspects of the Desktop Support and Engineering functions, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly to minimize downtime..
- Plan, deploy, and manage technology solutions that improve workplace efficiency. This includes hardware upgrades, software installations, and network enhancements.
- Perform regular maintenance on IT systems, including updates, backups, and security patches, to ensure smooth operation and data security..
- Implement and support collaboration tools such as video conferencing systems, project management software, and communication platforms.
- Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure consistent IT services for business users across different locations.
- Develop strong relationships with the business, vendors, and other functions to understand their needs and provide tailored IT solutions.
- Maintain thorough documentation of systems and processes, ensuring that information is easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Oversee the deployment and management of workplace devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. Ensure that all devices are properly configured and secure.
- Provide training to employees on new technology tools and best practices. Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures.

**Demonstrated skills and competencies**

**Experience**
- Strong experience in Workplace Technology or similar background (E)
- Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and MacOS (E)
- Implementing and maintaining desktop solutions and working with on-prem, hybrid and cloud solutions
- Proficiency in implementing, configuring, updating, and maintaining IT systems and components
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and team members

**Qualifications**
- Degree level education but not essential (P)

**Skills/Specialist knowledge**
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Efficiently assimilates new technologies and methodologies, ensuring that the deployment delivers a customer-focused, end-user-driven experience.
